What does the quality score reflect?
How well-formed and deliverable an address is: valid syntax, a domain with working MX, not disposable, and on a real domain all raise the grade.
How is quality different from risk?
They are two sides of the same signals — quality is the positive framing (Excellent → Poor), risk the negative (low → high).
Does a high score mean the mailbox is active?
No. It measures technical and reputation quality, not live mailbox status, which needs an existence or engagement check.
Is the check live?
