Why not use object storage like S3?
Object storage is great for specific use cases. Storage VPS gives you full control, lower latency and predictable pricing ideal when you need traditional file storage with a file system you manage.
Can I use this for hosting websites?
You can, but our standard VPS plans are better optimized for web hosting. Storage VPS is designed for storage-heavy workloads like backups, file servers and media.
Is the storage redundant?
Basic plans are single-drive. We offer RAID options for additional redundancy, and we always recommend keeping a copy of critical data elsewhere too.
Can I expand storage later?
Yes. Storage upgrades are instant and your existing data stays intact we expand the partition and file system automatically.
What file systems are supported?
ext4 by default, XFS for large files, and Btrfs for advanced features. You can choose during setup or change it later.
Can I use this for database storage?
Yes NVMe storage is excellent for databases. That said, our standard VPS plans include optimized database configurations if that is your primary workload.
