Go is simple. Hosting shouldn't make it complicated.
Generic hosts don't understand Go wrong version, missing dependencies, no service management. Six things make HostCloud Golang Hosting genuinely built for Go.
Latest Go versions pre-installed
Go 1.22, 1.21, 1.20 available out of the box. Switch versions per project no manual installs, no version conflicts.
Go modules just work
Private repos? SSH keys configured. Environment variables set. go build and go mod download work without extra setup.
Systemd service management
Your app runs as a proper systemd service auto-start on boot, auto-restart on crash, captured logs and resource limits.
Reverse proxy configured automatically
nginx handles HTTP to HTTPS redirects, domain routing, WebSocket upgrades and SSL certificates zero manual config.
Git-based deployment
Push code and we compile and deploy: clone your repo, download dependencies, compile the binary, restart the service.
CPU-optimized infrastructure
NVMe SSD storage, CPU-optimized instances and network-optimized infrastructure so your Go binary runs at full speed.
"Just upload your Go binary" sounds simple until it crashes on reboot
Generic hosting was never built with Go in mind. Here is what actually happens when you try to deploy a real Go service on it.
Version mismatch
Your app uses Go 1.22 with generics. Hosting has Go 1.18 (or none installed). The binary you compiled locally simply will not run.
Dependency failures
go mod download fails behind server firewalls. Private repos need SSH keys. Environment variables are never set for you.
No service management
Generic hosting runs your app in a fragile screen/tmux session. Reboot the server and your app just does not come back.
Manual proxy configuration
Your app listens on :8080. You configure nginx, HTTPS redirects and SSL certificates yourself with zero help from support.
- Go 1.22, 1.21, 1.20 pre-installed switch anytime
- SSH keys + env vars configured for private modules
- systemd auto-restart, logging and resource limits
- nginx reverse proxy + SSL configured automatically
Three Go plans. High performance.
Every plan ships with pre-installed Go versions, systemd service management, an nginx reverse proxy and Git-based auto-deploy. Upgrade instantly we migrate your service and prorate the difference.

Where Go hosting makes the difference
Systemd services, reverse proxy and Git-based deploys make a measurable difference. Four common Go workloads.
REST API deployment
Go Starter · 1 GB RAM
Push to Git auto-deploy compiles and starts your systemd service. Auto-restarts after reboots, with monitoring alerts on crashes.
Zero manual restarts
Real-time WebSocket apps
Go Growth · 2 GB RAM
nginx reverse proxy configured for WebSocket upgrades. Persistent connections hold for hundreds of concurrent users without timeouts.
500+ concurrent users
Microservices architecture
Go Scale · 4 GB RAM
Deploy five isolated Go services on one plan. Each runs as its own systemd unit with nginx routing and SSL per domain.
One dashboard, five services
Git-based CI/CD deploys
Go Starter · 1 GB RAM
Push code and we compile and redeploy automatically clone, download dependencies, build the binary, restart the service, zero downtime.

What Performance Actually Looks Like
We don't make performance claims we can't back up. Here is what our infrastructure delivers in real-world testing — measured, tracked, and verifiable.
Pages That Load Before Visitors Lose Patience
Our average shared-hosting page load is 1.8–2.2 seconds measured with real, content-heavy websites, not empty test pages designed to look good in benchmarks.
The shared-hosting industry averages 4–6 seconds. Google has made page speed a ranking factor, mobile users abandon sites that take longer than 3 seconds, and every additional second of latency costs roughly 7% in conversions. Speed is not a vanity metric it is revenue.
1.8–2.2s average load 2–3× faster than typical shared hosting.

99.9% Uptime Tracked in Public, Not Just Promised
We hit 99.9% uptime in 2025. In plain terms, your site was unreachable for less than 43 minutes across the entire year.
This is a service-level commitment, not a marketing line. We run redundant infrastructure, we publish our uptime so you can verify it yourself, and when we fall below our SLA we credit your account automatically. You should never have to chase the guarantee you were promised.
Under 43 minutes of downtime, all year the difference between a commitment and a slogan.

Support That Answers in Minutes, Migrations Done in Hours
Average first response to critical tickets is under 15 minutes, and common issues are resolved in under 2 hours not the 24–48 hours you have come to expect from budget hosts.
Switching providers? We migrate most websites in under 4 hours, and many complete in under 60 minutes. You submit a request, we handle the transfer of files, databases, and email, you verify, and you are live with real India-based engineers on the line the whole way.
Under 15 minutes to reach a human. Under 4 hours to a full, verified migration.

How we measure: figures above come from real-world testing on content-heavy WordPress and e-commerce sites running on HostCloud's NVMe + LiteSpeed infrastructure, compared against typical shared hosting — not synthetic lab pages. Load times vary with site build, plan and traffic, so your results may differ.

Got Questions? We Have Answers.
Do I need to compile locally?
No. We compile on the server push code and we run go build for you. Or compile locally and upload the binary. Your choice.
Can I use private Go modules?
Yes. Configure SSH keys for private repos and we authenticate during go mod download. Your private code stays private.
What about CGO?
CGO is supported. If your app uses C libraries, we install the required dependencies just let us know your requirements during setup.
Can I run multiple Go services?
Yes. Go Growth and Scale support multiple services, each with its own systemd unit and port.
How does logging work?
stdout/stderr is captured by systemd. Logs live in /var/log/, accessible via SSH or the log dashboard, with log rotation included.
What happens if my app crashes?
systemd auto-restarts it immediately. If it crashes repeatedly we alert you, and logs capture the crash reason for debugging.
