Can I use my existing domain with Microsoft 365?
Yes. We configure your domain for Microsoft 365 and update the MX records so email flows to Microsoft 365 — no migration needed if you are starting fresh. Migrating from Google Workspace, another host or on-premise Exchange? We handle the whole migration.
Do I need desktop Office apps or are web apps enough?
If your team creates documents, spreadsheets or presentations regularly, desktop apps are better — full functionality, offline access and faster for power users. If you mostly view and edit simple files, the web apps in Business Basic (₹799/user/month) may be enough.
Can I mix and match plans?
Yes. Put some users on Business Basic, others on Business Standard and others on Business Premium — assign each user the plan that fits what they actually need.
Is Microsoft 365 secure?
Yes. It includes Exchange Online Protection (spam and malware filtering), Advanced Threat Protection on Premium, encryption in transit and at rest, compliance tools and multi-factor authentication. For most businesses it is more secure than on-premise servers or free alternatives.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You have 30 days to export your data — emails, files and Teams messages — before deletion. We recommend periodic backups regardless of subscription status.
Do I need an IT person to manage this?
No. The Microsoft 365 admin center is built for non-technical users — add users, reset passwords and configure settings from a web interface. HostCloud also provides setup support and ongoing help if needed.
Can I keep using my old Office software?
You can, but you will not receive updates or security patches. A Microsoft 365 subscription always includes the latest Office apps — for security and compatibility we recommend using the included apps.
