Will my website go down during the transfer?
No. Your DNS remains active throughout, so your site stays online. Only ownership of the domain transfers not your DNS records.
How long does a transfer take?
5–7 days for most domains. Some complete faster (3–5 days) and some slower (up to 10 days). .in domains typically take about 7 days.
Can I transfer if my domain is expired?
No. Renew with your current registrar first, then transfer. Note there is a 60-day lock after renewal before a transfer can begin.
What if the transfer fails?
We help you troubleshoot. The common causes are a wrong EPP code, a locked domain, or privacy protection still enabled we guide you through fixing each.
Do I get an extra year?
Yes. A transfer extends your registration by one year, and you keep any time remaining on the domain you never lose it.
Can I transfer multiple domains at once?
Yes. You can transfer up to 50 domains in a single order, and each transfer is processed individually.
What about international domains?
We support transfers from most countries. Some TLDs may require additional verification, and we will let you know if anything extra is needed.
