Do I need a VPS or shared hosting?
Upgrade to VPS when shared hosting resource limits become restrictive, you need custom software, or you require root access. If none of those apply, shared hosting is perfectly fine.
Which Linux distribution should I choose?
Ubuntu 22.04 LTS suits most users. Choose Debian for stability, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux as CentOS alternatives, and Fedora for the latest features. We recommend Ubuntu for beginners.
Can I upgrade my VPS plan later?
