About mail testing

Reaching the inbox depends on two things you control: authentication (does SPF, DKIM and DMARC pass?) and content (does the message look spammy?). Testing only one leaves a blind spot.

This tester reads the real authentication verdicts already recorded in the email's headers and pairs them with a content spam analysis, blending both into a single mail-health score. Because it uses the actual headers of a message you received, the auth results are genuine — not a guess. Paste a copy of the email you sent to yourself for the most accurate picture.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Got Questions? We Have Answers.

How does the mail tester work?

Paste a full raw email — headers and body. The tool reads the real SPF, DKIM and DMARC results already recorded in the headers, analyses the body for spam triggers, and blends both into a single 0-100 score.

How do I get the full email source?

In Gmail open the message, click the three-dot menu and choose "Show original"; in Outlook use "View source" or "View message source". Copy everything and paste it in.

Why paste an email I sent to myself?

The authentication verdicts in the headers are added by the receiving server, so a copy you emailed to yourself contains the real SPF/DKIM/DMARC results for your sending setup.

Is my email uploaded anywhere?

Parsing and scoring happen in your browser. Only if you click "Get fixes with AI" is a short summary sent to the AI helper — never the full message automatically.

What makes a good mail-health score?

Aim for 90+. You reach it with SPF, DKIM and DMARC all passing and a low content spam score. Failed authentication or spammy content drops the score.

Does a high score guarantee the inbox?

No. It confirms strong technical foundations, but placement also depends on list quality, sending reputation and recipient engagement.
