About domain availability

A domain is available if no one has registered it yet. This checker queries RDAP — the authoritative registration protocol — and only reports "available" when a registry genuinely returns "not found", so it avoids the false positives that catch out simple WHOIS scrapers.

Some ccTLDs do not publish RDAP; for those the result is shown as unknown rather than guessed. When a name is free across the extensions you care about, register it promptly — good names go fast.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Got Questions? We Have Answers.

How does the availability checker work?

Enter a name or domain and it queries RDAP for that name across popular TLDs, reporting each as available, taken or unknown based on genuine registry responses.

Why is a result shown as "unknown"?

Some ccTLDs do not operate an RDAP server. Rather than guess, the tool reports "unknown" so you are never given a false "available".

Which TLDs does it check?

Common ones including .com, .net, .org, .io, .co, .ai, .app, .dev, .xyz and .in — plus the exact domain if you type a full one.

Is an "available" result guaranteed?

It reflects the registry at query time. Availability can change quickly, so register a name you want promptly to be sure.

Can I check a specific domain only?

Yes. Type the full domain (like mybrand.com) and it is checked directly, along with the same base name on other TLDs.

Does this register the domain?

No. It only checks availability. Register available names through a registrar such as HostCloud.
