About MX records
MX records tell other servers where to deliver email for your domain. Each has a priority — lower numbers are tried first — so you can list primary and backup mail servers.
This lookup queries your MX (mail exchange) records in real time over DNS-over-HTTPS, so you see exactly what resolvers see right now — useful for verifying changes, auditing a setup, or troubleshooting.

Got Questions? We Have Answers.
What is an MX record?
An MX (mail exchange) record tells other servers which hosts accept email for your domain. Each has a priority value.
What does the MX priority mean?
Lower numbers are tried first. You list a primary mail server at a low priority and backups at higher numbers.
Why does my domain have no MX records?
Without MX records, the domain cannot receive email at that name. Add MX records from your email provider to enable delivery.
How do MX records relate to SPF and DKIM?
MX controls where mail is delivered; SPF, DKIM and DMARC (TXT records) control authentication. All are needed for reliable, secure email.
Is this lookup live?
Yes. MX records are resolved in real time over DNS-over-HTTPS.
I changed my MX records — why the delay?
Resolvers cache the old records for their TTL. Allow it to expire, then re-check; propagation can take a few hours.
