About domain email validation
Every deliverable address depends on its domain being able to receive mail. That means the domain must publish MX records pointing to mail servers (or, rarely, rely on an A record as an implicit MX). A domain with neither simply cannot accept email, so every address on it will bounce.
This validator resolves those records live and reports whether the domain accepts mail, which servers handle it, and whether it is a free or disposable provider. It validates the domain, not a specific mailbox — a valid domain confirms mail can be delivered there, while confirming an individual inbox needs a per-address check.

What does the domain email validator check?
It resolves the domain's MX records live (falling back to the A record as an implicit MX) to confirm whether the domain can receive email, lists its mail servers, and flags free or disposable domains.
How is this different from validating an address?
This validates the domain part only — whether mail can be delivered to that domain at all. Validating a full address also checks the local part, typos and role/disposable signals for a specific mailbox.
What if a domain has no MX record?
Mail may still be accepted via the domain's A record (the implicit MX), but this is uncommon. With neither MX nor A, the domain cannot receive email and every address on it will bounce.
Why flag disposable domains?
Disposable domains provide throwaway inboxes used to bypass sign-ups; addresses on them churn and bounce, so the validator marks them as high risk.
Is the MX lookup live?
Yes. Records are resolved over DNS-over-HTTPS at the moment you run the check — no cached data.
