About Core Web Vitals

Core Web Vitals are Google's user-experience metrics: LCP (loading — how fast the main content appears), CLS (visual stability — how much the layout shifts), and INP (responsiveness — how quickly the page reacts to input). They influence rankings and, more importantly, how the page feels.

The official CWV come from field data (real Chrome users, via CrUX) which this free tool cannot access. Instead it measures the server-side signals that drive those metrics — response time and render-blocking for LCP, undimensioned images for CLS — and is upfront that these are lab proxies. Fix the signals here, then confirm your real scores in Google Search Console.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Got Questions? We Have Answers.

Does this give official Core Web Vitals?

No, and it says so clearly. Official CWV come from field data (real Chrome users, via CrUX) which a free tool cannot access. This measures the server-side signals that drive LCP and CLS as lab proxies.

What can it actually measure?

It measures TTFB and render-blocking resources (which drive LCP) and images without dimensions (which cause CLS), and explains how to improve INP, which needs real interaction to measure.

How do I get my real scores?

Fix the signals flagged here, then check your field Core Web Vitals in Google Search Console's Core Web Vitals report.

Is it live?

Yes. The signals are measured from a live server fetch each time.
